
Two phpects of Communications Management
Communications management can be understood from two phpects: workflow management and business management. The former deems communications as a process of production, including stages of idea creation, content production, content distribution, and content exhibition. Hereafter management is functioned to integrate the resources related to the communications process so as to improve efficiency. In other words, communications management can be considered as “workflow management of communications operations.”
Secondly, in an attempt to improve business performance, both strategic management that focuses on the business structure as well as management of operation, marketing, human resources, finance and information, which focus on the system function of businesses, are necessary. Therefore, communications management can be considered as “management of communication businesses.”
